The Champion 10,000 welder generator by Hobart Welders is the most powerful welder generator
available from Hobart Welders. The generator features four 120 volt (20 amp) outlets with one 120/240 volt (50 amp) outlet with push button reset circuit breakers. The generator is rated at 10,000 surge or 9,500 continuous. Hobart's field current control maintains auxiliary output which gives you stronger motor starting capabilities with quicker arc starts. Easier set up with one single dial for current control. This welder generator has an auto idling feature which reduces engine noise and improves fuel economy.
The Champion 10,000 also functions as a 230 amp constant current DC
welder. Designed for stick welding with quick arc starts it is also capable of performing general scratch start DC tig. This machine comes with a 20 foot electrode cable and holder with a 15 foot work cable and clamp.
Your Choice of Engine...
Select between a 20hp (at 3600 rpm) Kohler or 22hp (at 3600 rpm) Robin gasoline engine. Both of these engines feature a twin cylinder, four cycle overhead valve engine that is both low maintenance and fuel efficient. Each engine has a ten gallon fuel tank for extended use between refueling. Help maintain scheduled routine oil changes with a standard hour meter and the ability to change the oil without the need of tools. Both of these engines are warranted separately by the individual engine manufacturer.
