The Airforce 625 plasma cutter by Hobart Welders has many features which make it stand out as one of the best machines for your shop. For one, the cooling system only operates when you need it. This helps limit the amount of airborne dust and dirt from potentially being pulled through the unit. Hobart installs a power factor correction or PFC circuitry into this
plasma cutter. What this will do is draw up to 30 percent less amperage when in the same cutting range as a competitive unit. Cleaner and steady cuts can more easily be achieved with line voltage compensation which provides peak performance power under variable input voltage conditions (176-264v). This unit will start without high frequency so it will not interfere with or damage controls or computers.
The Airforce 625 requires external air supply but also features the built in gas/air filter with regulator that is found on the smaller
Airforce 400 model.
This plasma cutter comes from the factory with a 25 foot ICE-40c hand held torch, 25 foot heavy duty work clamp, 12 foot industrial power cord and plug, three electrodes, three tips and one air fitting
