The Hobart Handler 140 is the most powerful mig welder they make that still operates off of standard household current (115 volt). A favorite among hobbyists that appreciate the portability of this unit.  Need to weld outdoors in windy conditions? Just put a spool of flux core wire on and your ready to go. Switch back to regular wire, add a tank of shielding gas and your set up for
mig welding. Changing spools and switching the drive rollers is easily accomplished without the need for tools.
The Handler 140 will weld 24 gauge up to 1/4 inch steel. Featuring an amperage output range of 25 to 140, this mig welder can handle a broad range of solid mild steel or stainless, flux cored and aluminum wires. The Handler 140 also handles the following processes: steel, stainless steel and aluminum.
This mig welder ships complete with a comfortable 10 foot H-10
mig welding gun, 10 foot work clamp, power cord and plug, internal gas valve and regulator with gas hose. Hobart also includes a 1 pound spool of .030 flux core wire and extra .030 contact tips. Hook up a tank of your own shielding gas and your ready to
mig weld right out of the box.
